ECNL adds six new clubs for 2021/2022 | Soccer club

The ECNL Girls is delighted to announce that Beach FC, Legends FC, Oklahoma Energy FC, Sporting Blue Valley, Sporting Iowa and Utah Royals FC – Arizona will join the nation’s top women’s youth league for the 2021-22 season. The addition of six new clubs will bring additional talent and fierce competition to the already busy Midwest, Southwest and Texas conferences, and allow the ECNL to continue to fulfill its mission, which is to raise the level of play across the country. For more than a decade, ECNL has supported leading clubs across the country in training the next generation of college and professional stars.

“Year after year, the ECNL has provided players, clubs and coaches with an unparalleled environment for them to realize their potential and achieve their goals,” said Jen Winnagle, Girls Commissioner at the ECNL. “We are delighted that these teams are starting their journey with ECNL and that players can experience not only competition but also new programs like the Super Cup, designed to further broaden the personal development journey. . All six teams join the world’s premier women’s youth league after peaking in other leagues and competitions in previous years. Sporting Blue Valley and Sporting Iowa are making the jump after successful campaigns in the ECNL Regional League – Heartland Conference this season, where they led the division in almost all age groups. Beach FC, Legends FC, Oklahoma Energy and Utah Royals FC – AZ continue their ascent through the ranks of young footballers in their respective regions, building on a history of national successes across multiple platforms over several years .

Beach FC, Legends FC and Utah Royals FC – Arizona will all join ECNL Southwest Conference, Sporting Blue Valley and Sporting Iowa will join Midwest Conference, and Oklahoma Energy will join conference from Texas.

Beach FC
Long Beach, CA

With over 125 boys and girls teams representing over 1,800 families, Beach FC is one of Southern California’s largest football organizations. Through a distinct style of play, the club has developed numerous players for college programs, national teams and professional ranks. Beach FC believes in family, industry and community and remains deeply committed to its local roots.

“The Beach Futbol Club is delighted to include our girls’ program in this new chapter of our club,” said club manager Mauricio Ingrassia. “We have spent most of the last decade making our club a leading player at the national level. FC Legends

Founded in 2002, Legends FC has grown from just four teams in its debut to 265 in 2020. In those years, Legends FC have won four national championships, four second places nationally, 11 regional championships, 24 championships in the world. ‘State, more than 50 national level players and more than 400 college rookies.

Oklahoma Energy FC

Oklahoma Energy FC grew out of the legacy of one of Oklahoma’s most successful football programs, Oklahoma FC. In 2017, OEFC partnered with USL Club Oklahoma City Energy FC to deliver a statewide program that emphasizes the challenge facing players in top competitions. while maintaining the key principles of fun and passion in the game. With the sole focus of providing the best development and competition for players of all skill levels in our state, Oklahoma Energy is proud to join the ECNL.

“Oklahoma Energy FC is very happy to become a new member of the ECNL for the 2021-22 season,” said Gareth Evans, director of the Girls’ Academy. “At OEFC, we pride ourselves on the culture and environment we provide to our members. We look forward to continuing to provide our players with University and USYNT exposure while having the opportunity to compete against top clubs across the country on a weekly basis. Being able to add the ECNL and the ECNL Regional League to our elite level programming gives us an excellent platform to help the growth and development of our players and our club ”.

Sportif Blue Valley

Sporting Blue Valley was founded in 1977 with the goal of providing local youth with a fun and safe recreational league. For more than 40 years, Sporting Blue Valley has grown and now has more than 120 teams, ranging from U-8 to U-19. In spring 2011, Blue Valley Soccer Club became a subsidiary of Sporting KC Academy and one of the founding members of Sporting Club Network.

“Sporting Blue Valley is extremely happy to be a member of ECNL,” said Richard Davies, Director of Girls’ Coaching. “The competition offered will give our players the best environment to develop to their full potential. We can’t wait to compete against so many fantastic clubs ”.

Sporting Iowa

Sporting Iowa was created in 2014 by the amalgamation of several Iowa clubs, and is affiliated with Sporting KC Academy. Sporting Iowa emphasizes player development and maximizing opportunities for young Iowa footballers through participation in local, regional and national events, a philosophy pursued and encouraged by membership in the ECNL.

“Sporting Iowa is delighted to join the prestigious Elite Club National League and to further enhance the opportunities and courses we are constantly seeking to amplify the experience for our players,” said Executive Director John Sheridan. “We are proud to represent Iowa as the first and only club to have full access to ECNL for our girls’ program. Utah Royals FC – Arizona

Utah Royals FC – Arizona’s mission is to be a leader in Arizona and to be a national leader in player development. With teams ranging from U-13s to U-19s, Utah Royals FC – Arizona is building a course that spans academy to professional and international opportunities. By joining the ECNL, the club offers its athletes more opportunities to complete this journey.
