Urzula von der Leiena, President of the European Commission (EC), addresses MEPs on 16 September. She reports on the EC’s work in addressing the consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic and the economic crisis. In her address, she announced plans to significantly increase the European Union’s emissions reduction target to 55% by 2030.
