Food blogger Verena Pelikan is launching her digital magazine “SchlossJournal” just in time for Christmas. With the first edition, the agency boss and blogger icon would like to bring joy to her fans and provide inspiration for a beautiful, enjoyable Christmas, relaxing holidays and the turn of the year.
“At an online meeting with my graphic designer, I thought about what we could do to ensure that the Christmas season is beautiful despite the special challenges this year. We asked ourselves how we can make people happy – the result was the idea of the ‘SchlossJournal’, “says Pelikan proudly.
This is the next step in the success story alongside the food blog “Sweets & Lifestyle” and the SchlossStudio. “Over 10 million page views per year on my food blog show that a lot of people are interested in my content. With the ‘SchlossJournal’ I would like to provide readers with appealing content in a compact, clear form, ”says Pelikan.
It was clear to them from the start that the “SchlossJournal” would be published online. “An online magazine offers a lot of possibilities – for example videos can be embedded directly. We rely on classic content marketing for our digital magazine. We produce content that customers can also use for their own channels. “
Another advantage is that publishers and customers can use statistics to see exactly how many people from which regions have viewed the content. In this way, a specific target group can be reached in a measurable and targeted manner with the content relevant to them. The “SchlossJournal” is to appear every six months in the future.
A content marketing expert
Verena Pelikan already demonstrated years ago with her blog “Sweets & Lifestyle” that content marketing works in practice. With her easy-to-follow recipes and her knowledge of organic and “real” growth, she has advanced to become one of the most far-reaching food bloggers in German-speaking countries.
Since July 2020 she has been collecting the cornerstones of her many years of activity in the field of content marketing under the “SchlossStudio” brand at Schloss Coburg zu Ebenthal: recipe development, food styling, food photography and show cooking and now also the “SchlossJournal”. Baking and cooking courses as well as team building events for companies complete the portfolio.
For years, her clients have included well-known brands such as Coca-Cola, Kenwood, Jura and Wiener Zucker. In 2018 and 2019, Pelikan was recognized as the “Top 10 World Food Photographer” at the “Foodelia Foodphotography Award”. As an author, she has published two books so far: In 2017, “Punsch, Glögg & hot cocoa: The most delicious drinks for the winter” was published by Frechverlag / Stuttgart. In 2020 the band appeared in cooperation with Wiener Zucker: “Preserving – Recipes for homemade delicacies in a glass”. In baking and cooking courses, she also passes on her knowledge to ambitious amateur cooks. As a “Certified eCommerce & Social Media Consultant”, the digital media expert advises small and medium-sized companies on issues such as online marketing.
