His waltz makes the juror Mabuse cry – and yet Jan Hofer flies away from the dance show “Let’s dance”. Love Week was all about great feelings – and a record was broken.
Cologne – This time the public votes did not save it either: former Tagesschau spokesperson Jan Hofer flew off the RTL dance show “Let’s Dance”.
The 69-year-old and his dance partner Christina Luft received twelve points for his slow waltz and therefore the jury’s worst score. Actress Valentina Pahde, meanwhile, got the most points for her Viennese waltz and even broke a record.
Hofer had dedicated the dance to his wife – because the motto of the seventh edition of this year’s dance performance was “Love Week”. This time, the compliments were distributed abundantly and several celebrities expressed their love for their partners.
Hofer, for example, reported on the relationship with his wife, whom he met at a vintage car rally and with whom he has been together for seven years: “We haven’t fought once. Each day ends with the words: I love you. She is the best that has ever happened to him.
Juror Motsi Mabuse rose from his seat after Hofer’s dance and had tears in his eyes. “We just saw your best,” she said. Only juror Jorge González was exceptionally critical this time about the quality of Hofer’s dance. And so the second evaluation for the jury team’s dance and the additional votes from the audience were not enough to move Hofer forward.
Actress Pahde (26) and her dance partner Valentin Lusin received 30 points for their Viennese waltz. The whole jury rose after the performance. Llambi pointed out that here the audience could have seen that you can be good without a lot of frills and show elements. Mabuse even called Pahde the “queen of the ballroom,” bowed to her and said, “It was the best Viennese waltz ever, ever, ever. “A celebrity has never received so many points for a Viennese waltz on” Let’s dance, “said presenter Victoria Swarovski. Eight years ago, Sila Sahin achieved the best score to date with 29 points.
Regarding the motto of the week, however, Pahde said, “I don’t have so much to say when it comes to love. It’s good when you’re in love – I haven’t had this feeling for a long time. This week, professional dancer Patricija Belousova wanted to spark more passion in her protégé, professional boxer Simon Zachenhuber – so the 22-year-old had to take his shirt off during salsa. Llambi commented: “We are all waiting for Rúrik to do this too. “
Icelandic footballer Rúrik Gíslason (33) and his dance partner Renata Lusin made jokes with lines on the weekly topic. They also received the most points for their chachacha – many more than the week before. Llambi said: “I was miserable last week because I know you can do better. This is exactly what he has shown now. With ex-“Prince Charming” Nicolas Puschmann (30), who performed a samba with his dance partner Vadim Garbuzov, the jury had a lot to complain about this time. The structure was missing, González said. Joachim Llambi added: “I think it was not so much his dance today. In the end, there were 23 points.
For the first time, the celebrities had to show a second dance – like a team dance that one of the three jurors performed with them. Dutch singer Ilse DeLange has had some bad luck this week. The 43-year-old injured her foot before the dress rehearsal. She doesn’t know what happened yet, but it hurts so much that she can’t stand it, she says. So she and her dance partner Evgeny Vinokurov had to sit down.
