Ebb Software postpones survival horror game Scorn until October 2022 – Gaming – News

Publisher and developer Ebb Software will release survival horror game Scorn in October next year. This game was announced in May last year, although there was already a Kickstarter campaign in 2017.

In a short video, showing little news and only some atmospheric images, it is announced that Scorn will be released in October next year for Windows and the Xbox Series X and S. The title will also become part of the Game Pass library and will be available on Steam.

In a update on the Kickstarter page Ebb Software CEO Ljubomir Peklar says the game’s content is 75 percent complete. He says the focus will be on the last 25 percent in the coming months, followed by bug fixes and release preparation.

A clear reason for the delay is not given, but the team says the extra time is needed to realize his vision of Scorn. In addition, the team cites his attempts to make the game scary and nightmarish.

Scorn is a first-person horror game published by Microsoft for the Xbox and released by Humble Bundle for Windows. The shooter is inspired by the works of the late painters HR Giger and Zdzisław Beksiński. Giger is best known for his biomechanical artstyle and Beksiński of dystopian surrealism.
