Eating whole grains improves heart health

Researchers at Tufts University in the United States found it in a cohort of 3,100 adults followed for an average of 18 years. Compared to those who consumed less than half a ration of whole grains per day, followers of 3 rations saw their waistlines increase half as much, improved their blood pressure and blood sugar: three health indicators cardiac.
