From Essen on holiday: a lot of traffic to tourist destinations?
Especially in the direction of tourist destinations, such as the Baltic and Northern coasts and the Netherlands, the ADAC provides complete motorways for the NRW summer holidays. A particularly high number of traffic jams are therefore expected on Fridays from 14:00 to 20:00 and on Saturdays from 10:00 to 16:00. The reason for this are also construction sites, including on the A40, A42 and A52 in Essen and the surrounding area.
