He added: “We can make a person more resistant to stress by eating foods, more precisely, the micronutrients that the brain needs to function properly. The first micronutrient for this purpose is omega-3, which is found in marine fish. Omega – 3 acids can also be used. It is found in flaxseed oil and is taken as a supplement.
The Russian expert pointed out that omega-6 acids, found in sunflower oil, corn and sweets, are frequently used in the daily diet. But frequent use of these products increases the level of anxiety.
He concluded: “If we want to be more resistant to stress, it is better for us to at least replace sunflower oil in our daily diet with olive oil or coconut oil.”
