The expected losses are explained by the negative impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the aviation industry.
The airline reports that the number of passengers carried in the business year has halved to 48 million.
Due to the coronavir pandemic, easyJet suspended all aircraft in its fleet at the end of March.
In mid-June, the airline resumed operations, but to a very limited extent.
In response to the crisis caused by the pandemic, easyJet will cut up to 4,500 jobs, or almost a third of the total number of jobs.
