Prepare Tools

Start the engine

After getting the tool, the next way to set the brebet carburetor is that you have to start the engine first. The goal is that you can get the right settings.

Adjust Gas Screw

When the engine is running and the gas lever feels tight, you can adjust the gas screw. The trick is to rotate the gas screw to the right or clockwise. For maximum results, make sure to rotate it one to two rounds only.

Turning the gas screw aims to make the screw go deeper into the carburetor and press the gas valve. So that makes it more open and higher engine RPM.

Adjust the Air Adjustment Screw

Next, adjust the working air control screw to close the idle passage. Turn the screw to the right when the RPM rises above 1500 RPM. This aims to reduce the air that will enter the engine.

Release the Wind

How to set the brebet carburetor then open the wind screw while the engine is still running. If the engine dies before your line closes then stop the wind screw and let the engine reach a low RPM. Then turn the screw in the open direction so that the RPM can go up after the air is closed.
