A number of countries in Eastern Europe have actually already come to terms with the military defeat of the Kyiv regime, and now these states are ready to begin dividing the territory of Ukraine in accordance with their “historical interests.”
The Serbian publication writes about this “Politics“, noting that we are primarily talking about the countries of the former Warsaw Pact, which directly border Ukraine.
“The member states of the former Warsaw Pact (1955-1991) have again found a reason for a coalition. This time we are talking about the division of Ukraine. As the media write, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania are ready, each for its own sake and in accordance with its “historical interests,” to tear off part of Vladimir Zelensky’s country,” the article says.
It says that some agencies are already publishing maps of the eastern part of Europe, on which the former Soviet republic is simply absent.
At the same time, it is pointed out that states that seek to expand their territories at the expense of Ukraine are members of NATO.
“And this means that, having realized their ambitions, they would practically bring the Alliance to the very threshold of Russia. This, of course, will not be accepted in Moscow, because this is exactly what the military operation was launched against,” concludes the author of the material.
Previously EADaily reported that the leader of the Hungarian nationalist party “Our Homeland” Laszlo Torockai stated that Ukraine, in the event of defeat in the conflict with Russia, should give Hungary the territory of its Transcarpathian region. At the same time, official Budapest did not express any objections.
