On the occasion of the Easter Sunday celebrations, Sunday, April 17, 2022the iconic show of France 2 The day of the Lord will offer a new documentary on the spiers of cathedrals and Chartres (Eure-et-Loir) will obviously have a very special place.
The show The day of the Lord is broadcast every Sunday from 11 a.m. to 12:50 p.m., the celebration of the Easter mass will be broadcast before the documentary.
Easter mass live from Marseille
Easter Mass will be celebrated live at 11 a.m. La Major Cathedral in Marseille (Bouches-du-Rhône), followed by the blessing of Pope Francis at the Vatican.
It is on the shores of the Mediterranean in Marseille, one of the cradles of Christianity, that The day of the Lord decided this year to celebrate Easter.
La Major, an imposing Byzantine-style building, is located in the heart of the city, near the Old Port. This celebration marks the launch of weekly parish masses in the cathedral, a building that was until then reserved for extraordinary liturgical events (sacrament of communion, confirmations, etc.).
The office will be chaired and celebrated by Mgr Jean-Marc Aveline, Archbishop of Marseille.
At noon, blessing City and World delivered by Pope Francis, live from the Vatican.

The distribution of the documentary eyes in the sky*, by Lucile Bellanger (26′) is scheduled for 12:20 p.m.
