JEONJU, May 14 (Yonhap) – Lee Sang-jik, former boss of low-cost airline Eastar Jet and current Member of the National Assembly, has been referred by the Procuratorate to court for embezzlement, abuse of confidence and violation of the law concerning the political party, this Friday.

The National Assembly approved Lee’s arrest request last month, the second case for the 21st Parliament. Lee quit the ruling Democratic Party (PD) in September 2020.
