East Java in PPKM Level 1 first in Java-Bali. In fact, the city of Surabaya, which previously entered level 2, has now dropped to level 1.
“Alhamdulillah, Java-Bali is the province that entered the first level of East Java. Today East Java is at level 1. 9 regencies/cities, Surabaya is at level 1 and 3 is at level 3, the rest is at level 2. So East Java is the first level 1 in Java-Bali. ,” said East Java Governor Khofifah Indar Parawansa after inaugurating the ITS 5G Experience Center, Thursday (16/9/2021).
Apart from entering level 1, almost 100% of East Java is a yellow zone or low risk. There is only one area that is still in the orange zone. Then East Java’s positivity rate is currently 1.8%.
“Alhamdulillah, of the 38 regencies of the yellow zone of 37 cities, only Blitar City remains. So if a total of 97.37% of the East Java area is yellow zone, meaning low risk,” he explained.
“This means that we are more vigilant, more vigilant about health protocols, so that we can maintain and improve those that have improved and are sloping,” he added.
