The East Java Culture and Tourism Office (Disbudpar) has apologized after the enthusiastic Rubicon Jeep group clashed with officials and forced its way into the event at Bromine. East Java Disbudpar admitted that it was wrong because it did not communicate the change of date of the event fashion in the Bromo area.
“Earlier I called the representative of the Rubicon community, his name is Pak Nusi. Basically, we apologize,” said the head of UPT laboratory and art development for East Java Disbudpar, Efie Widjajanti, as reported by Antara . detikJatimWednesday (11/23/2022).
Efie admitted that her party was negligent because she did not provide an official letter regarding the call to the Rubicon community that the East Java Fashion Harmony 2022 event has been postponed. You said the notification was only delivered verbally.
“On November 20, my friend, through Mas Wawan, said that the community asked to be invited. So we verbally said that it had been postponed (the event was postponed to December 3, 2022). This was our negligence because the official letter had not been presented,” he explained.
Efie said the East Java Fashion Harmony event was postponed because place at the beginning of the Court of Mount Widodaren Hill Bromine not permitted for event use. Because this place is sacred.
The Jeep Rubicon Group was previously reportedly involved in an altercation with TNBTS officials on Saturday (11/19) morning. The group made its way into the tourist area of Bromo. The discussion went viral on social media.
