East Jakarta City Government Urges Public to Raise Awareness on Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever Prevention

East Jakarta, (4/5/2024) – The East Jakarta City Government (Pemkot) through Malaka Jaya Sub-District officials appealed to the public to raise awareness about the Aedes aegypti disease that carries the Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever virus ( DBD). This follows an increase in the risk of dengue fever cases spreading during the climate change transition period since last March.

This claim was expressed by the Chief of Malaka Jaya Village, Asiyanto, in his speech while attending the Eid al-Fitr halal bihalal 2024 held by the residents of RT 007 RW 011 on Jalan Taman Malaka Selatan, Malaka Town Jaya, Friday (3/5). /2024) in the afternoon. He asked the public to regularly carry out the DHF Mosquito Nest Elimination Movement (PSN) with 3M Plus activities.
