In the metropolis of New York, looser rules for dealing with the corona pandemic could apply from Monday. The current data looks like the city could move into phase two of the easing, said Mayor Bill de Blasio on Thursday.
In this second of four phases, among other things, work in offices and sales to the public in retail would be allowed again.

The approximately 27,000 restaurants in the city are allowed to serve guests outside, and hairdressers are allowed to work in half the maximum possible number of seats. Distance rules and hygiene regulations still apply everywhere. State governor Andrew Cuomo was also optimistic that New York City was almost certainly on the way to further easing.
