If you have an Iphone XR / XS or later, you can use e-sim, which means that you no longer have to worry about physical SIM cards.
At present, it can be a bit cumbersome to move an e-sim from one mobile to another, but that process will be simplified with this autumn’s upgrade to iOS 16.
According to Macrumors it will namely be possible to use bluetooth to transfer over an e-sim. All that is required is that the two mobile phones are close to each other and that bluetooth has not been turned off.
Should it be the case that your operator does not support the new solution, the current solution with a qr code remains.
