After several successful acquisitions in Belgium, the IT company Easi is increasing its presence on the Luxembourg market by purchasing the company Kozalys. Founded in 2010, the Luxembourg company works in consultancy and the implementation of data analysis and governance solutions, in other words “Business Intelligence and Data Analytics”. An expertise that Easi already has, but mainly in Belgium. After Wallonia and Flanders, the Belgian IT company, founded in 1999, is targeting the Luxembourg market.

In a context where data sometimes accumulates uncontrollably and where the complexity of its use increases, few companies are easily able to target the information necessary for making strategic decisions. “Today, the effective analysis of information present in the company and the optimal governance of this data are two elements that have become essential. All companies aspire to be able to analyze their data more efficiently, using simple, clear tools designed to provide answers,” explains Ludovic Michaux, Managing Partner at Easi.
According to the latter, the acquisition of Kozalys will allow Easi to relaunch a phase of growth in a territory that is still little explored at this stage.

For his part, Axel Pierard, Managing Partner and co-founder of Kozalys, explains that he could not have sold his baby to a company that was already not present in Luxembourg. “For us, local roots are essential. This is what sets us apart from our customers.” Indeed, if Easi is a Belgian company which currently employs more than 500 people, it is also present in Luxembourg.
Strengthen the Luxembourg workforce
The acquisition of Kozalys will also allow it to double its workforce in the region. In addition to the common values, these two companies are above all complementary. “We already have a diverse clientele in Luxembourg. Today, it is mainly Adfinity, our accounting and management solution, which is experiencing growing success. With the introduction of Kozalys, we will be able to develop the entire “Data” branch, which is a perfect complement to Adfinity. We look forward to continuing the growth of our Luxembourg entity thanks to Kozalys,” adds Ludovic Michaux.

Easi’s ambitions are therefore clear: to become the Belgian and Luxembourg market leader in the sector of software and services linked to the analysis and governance of business data. By 2025, Easi still hopes to hire around twenty new employees to reach 50 people within its Luxembourg entity. In the meantime, it will be able to count on the advanced expertise of Kozalys employees to support it in this new challenge.
