Earth’s magnetic field anomaly grows and worries scientists

There is a huge anomaly in the Earth’s magnetic field, well above a region of the South America, and also takes a part of Africa (highlighted image).

The anomaly, which is growing, is monitored by NASA. This, of course, does not mean the apocalypse, but it is still a problem. It can be a very bad thing, especially to keep growing.

An anomaly in the Earth’s magnetic field means that, in that region, the field strength is lower. And you might be thinking, “but why would it affect me if I don’t even care about this magnetic field?”
