Also, a second earthquake in Lebanon, which was felt by some residents of Keserwan, originated in Mayrouba, measuring 2.4 degrees on the Richter scale.
In a related context, Tony Nemer, a researcher in geology at the American University, wrote on his Twitter account: “Two earthquakes hit Lebanon this afternoon with a magnitude of 2.4 and 3.4 degrees.
“It’s simple and nothing to worry about,” Nimr said.
