Two weeks ago, publisher Nikolaus Brandstätter foresaw the impending insolvency of Medienlogistik, the country’s second-largest book supplier – which is also his supplier. Earlier this week, he and fellow publishers addressed the media. Because it is an “earthquake” going through the industry, he says in an interview. In contrast to other sectors, insolvency in this case does not mean that only the delivery of goods is at risk.
