Earthquake Strikes Blitar, East Java with Magnitude 4.1

An earthquake with a magnitude (M) of 4.1 occurred in Blitar, East Java. The earthquake has a depth of 105 km.

BMKG reported that the earthquake occurred at 20.24 WIB, Friday (21/7/2023). The point of the earthquake was 55 kilometers southeast of Blitar.

“55 km southeast of KAB-BLITAR-JATIM,” wrote @infoBMKG.

The coordinates of the earthquake were recorded at 8.63 degrees South Latitude (LS) and 112.27 degrees East Longitude (BT). Until now there is no information related to the impact of the earthquake.

“This information prioritizes speed, so the results of data processing are not stable and can change as the completeness of the data,” continued the BMKG.
