An earthquake measuring 4 on the Richter scale was recorded this morning in the sea off Greece’s Halkidiki peninsula, ANA-MPA reported.
The quake was detected at 7:01. Its epicenter was 35 km southeast of the village of Sikia, in the municipality of Sithonia.
According to the Geophysics Laboratory of the University of Thessaloniki, the depth of focus of the earthquake was 17 km.
