The quake was registered shortly before 8 p.m.
Shortly before 20.00 tonight a small earthquake with a magnitude of 2.9 on the Richter scale was registered in the area of Dobrinishte. This was announced by the National Institute of Geophysics, Geodesy and Geography / NIGGG / of BAS.
The earthquake is at a distance of 10.7 kilometers southeast of the town of Dobrinishte, Blagoevgrad region, and 106 kilometers from Sofia. According to the Seismological Service at NIGGG-BAS, the quake was not felt in the nearby settlements.
