The earthquake occurred near the following cities: 35km SE of Brasov, 59km N of Ploiesti, 113km NE of Pitesti, 117km N of Bucharest, 139km SW of Bacau, 148km E of Sibiu, 157km W of Braila, 160km W of Galati, 180km N de Ruse, 216km NE of Craiova.
