A magnitude 3.9 earthquake was registered 40 km east of the town of Kocani, in the Republic of Northern Macedonia. This was announced by the National Institute of Geophysics, Geodesy and Geography at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.
According to the National Seismological Center at the institute, the event at 19:55 Bulgarian time has an epicenter 100 km from Sofia. At the moment there are data that the earthquake was felt in the region of Blagoevgrad.
