The graph of the Vesuvian Observatory survey station fully conveys the idea. It was definitely stronger than usual there earthquake occurred in the Phlegraean area at 3.14 pm today.
The bradyseismic phenomena in the area occur if not on the agenda, on the order of the week. But although with a particularly shallow epicenter (therefore more perceptible), they are usually at most around 2 degrees of magnitude. In this case, official surveys of the Ingv report a magnitude of 3.5, with the second epicenter in the solfatara zone at a depth of 3 km.
To feel the phenomenon – distinguished for several seconds even by those who reside in the lower floors of the buildings of the area – were the residents of every corner of the Phlegraean area, from Quarto, passing through Pozzuoli, to the nearest Neapolitan districts such as Bagnoli and Fuorigrotta.
