Earthquake in Japan – 7 thousand people evacuated

Authorities have asked to evacuate nearly 7,000 people after the earthquake in northeastern Japan.

Tsunami warning after the earthquake in northeastern Japan has been withdrawn.

As reported, the earthquake did not cause emergency situations at the nuclear power plant. In particular, the tremors did not affect the situation at the Fukushima-1 emergency station.

Also, no changes were recorded at the Onagawa station in Miyagi Prefecture and Tokai-2 in Ibaraki. All reactors at these nuclear power plants are currently shut down.
