An earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale shook nowadays at noon the Greek island of Samos in the Aegean Sea in close proximity to the coast of Turkey, Kathimerini stories, BTA stories.

At 1:19 pm there was a 3rd, significantly weaker 3-magnitude earthquake.
The epicenter of the earthquake was 17 km southwest of the village of Pythagoras in Samos and the depth of emphasis was 12.8 km.
The earthquake was also documented by Turkish seismological resources.
