The November general elections are here and early voting begins on Saturday 29 October and runs every day until Sunday 6 November.
Election day is Tuesday 8 November.
Anyone with the right to vote can vote early, although the place where you vote in advance may be different from the one assigned to you on election day, the last day of voting.

If you have applied to vote by mail, but want to vote in person, you can go to the place where you vote in advance or the polling station on election day and fill out a sworn ballot.

Saturday 29 October 2022 from 9:00 to 17:00
Sunday 30 October 2022 from 9:00 to 17:00
Monday 31 October 2022 – from 7:00 to 15:00
Tuesday 1 November 2022: from 10:00 to 20:00
Wednesday 2 November 2022 – from 10:00 to 20:00
Thursday 3 November 2022: from 10:00 to 18:00
Friday 4 November 2022: from 7:00 to 15:00
Saturday 5 November 2022: from 9am to 5pm
Sunday 6 November 2022 – from 9am to 5pm
New Yorkers who go to the polls will vote for the Governor, the Lieutenant Governor, the Attorney General, the Controller of State and one of the seats in the Senate. There are also elections for Albany representatives to the state Assembly and Senate, as well as for state and local judges.
Voters will also decide on a proposed state vote that, if passed, would authorize $ 4 billion in bonds for climate and environment projects.
In the city, the cards will also include three initiatives focused on racial and economic justice proposed by a task force formed in the wake of George Floyd’s protests in 2020.
