Today we will continue to delve into the madrigal, that genre that was so successful in the Renaissance because it was able to achieve enormous expressiveness, by closely linking music with words. And today we will have examples of the greatest authors of madrigals: Verdelot, Arcadelt, de Rore, Marenzio, Gesualdo and Monteverdi.
