Early indications of dementia are visible up to nine years before final diagnosis (if you know what to look for)

The first signs are subtle, but noticeable. And the earlier the disease is detected, the better the outlook for a patient.

There are currently very few effective treatments for dementia or other neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson’s disease.
