Eamonn Holmes accuses Phillip Schofield of ‘Toxicity’ Following Resignation from ITV and Drop from Talent Agency

Phillip Schofield, the former co-host of ITV’s This Morning, has been accused of creating a “toxic” work culture on the show by former colleagues following his recent resignation. Eamonn Holmes, who previously presented the show alongside Schofield, criticised the broadcaster for lying to senior management, fellow presenters, his talent agency and the media about an “unwise, but not illegal” affair with a colleague. Dr Ranj Singh, a former resident doctor on the show, has also criticised the working environment, alleging that he “raised concerns about bullying and discrimination” which led to him feeling “managed out” for whistleblowing. ITV investigated rumours surrounding Schofield’s relationship in early 2020, however both parties “categorically and repeatedly denied” any wrongdoing. Schofield has denied allegations of toxicity raised against him by fellow presenters and has blamed a “handful of people with a grudge” for criticising him.
