Ealing Youth Orchestra is one of the leading youth orchestras in England. Their repertoire is a wide range of symphonic works from the 19th and 20th centuries. The orchestra currently has 75 members, young people aged between 13 and 19, chosen from among the best music students from 30 schools in West London.
The band is visiting Hungary for the second time. In 2017, three concerts were held at the Bakáts Festival, in Gödöllő Royal Castle and in the Church of the Whites in Vác. The band was formed in 1959 in the west London suburb of Ealing. The band gives 15 concerts a year, as well as a summer concert tour in Europe. Recently, they visited Poland, Spain, Germany, Belgium and France.
