Eagles win NFL scrimmage thanks to two touchdowns in 20 seconds

Philadelphia died Eagles stay in the National Football League (NFL) on the way to success. Thanks to a strong final quarter, the team of quarterback Jalen Hurts won the main game of the NFC East against the Washington Commanders 26:18 and achieved the sixth success in a row. This means that the Eagles currently have the third longest winning streak in the US Football League.

Saquon Barkley became the game winner. The running back scored two touchdowns within 20 seconds in the final period. After Barkley ran 23 yards into the end zone with five minutes left in the game, the ball carrier scored a 39-yard field goal for the decisive lead at 26:10. The Eagles defense intercepted Chiefs quarterback Jayden Daniels while attempting to pass.

Daniels’ opposite number, Jalen Hurts, had a better game; the Eagles quarterback ran into the end zone for a 12:10 lead midway through the fourth quarter. Hurts was substituted briefly in the second period after going down and being checked for concussion symptoms.

The Eagles won their eighth of ten games this season and secured first place in the NFC East division ahead of the Commanders, who won seven of their eleven games. (APA/dpa)
