This same projection also calculates a possible difference in the score. Due to the equality between both teams, the Eagles are estimated to win, on average, by 3.5 points.

There’s another number that also boosts the Eagles’ confidence to beat the Packers on Friday. Over the past three seasons, with Jalen Hurts at quarterback and Nick Sirianni as head coach, the team has always won its Week 1 game.

If they can string together four straight Week 1 wins, the Eagles would match what they did from 2016-19 and 2011-14. The franchise record is six straight Week 1 wins from 1942-47.
