Members of student football teams staged a mass brawl at a stadium in the center of Moscow. 16 people were detained and taken to the police station, reported today, April 2, in the press service of the capital’s head office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.
“It was preliminary established that at the address: 57 Plyushchikha Street, participation in the qualifying stage of student sports clubs took place, there was a conflict between the participants of football teams,” — reported in the department.
The incident happened yesterday, April 1st.
“16 people were brought to the DMIA for trial, for three of whom administrative materials were drawn up under Part 1 of Art. 20.1 of the CRF on AP (petty hooliganism)”, – informed the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
One person was reportedly injured in the brawl. Currently, the police are establishing all the circumstances of the incident.
