EA unveils game menu for coming months; see trailers – Link

Battlefield 2042 is one of Electronic Arts’ top games for this year

American game developer Electronic Arts (EA), owner of titles like FIFA and The Sims, unveiled on Thursday 22 the studio’s game menu that will hit stores in the coming months. Called EA Play 2021, the event was broadcast online due to the covid-19 pandemic.

Battlefield 2042 gets new creative mode

Battlefield Portal will be released alongside Battlefield 2042 in October this year, promising a creative mode where players change the rules of the game, almost like a free-for-all. From seven maps from the released title and six from other classics in the franchise, battle modes, configurations, weapons and squads can be edited to create new ways to play. Another new feature of the Portal is that players can make their creations available to the community.

Apex Legends and the new legend, Seer

Respawn had already announced a new character, Seer, but now it was possible to see the Legend and his abilities better. Seer is part of a new game update, Apex Legends: Emergence. The launch will be on August 3rd for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch and PC (via Origin and Steam). The trailer doesn’t reveal much information about the character’s gameplay, however.

Dead Space will get a remake

Released in 2008, Dead Space has become one of the public’s favorite survival and horror games. However, the surprise this time is not the release of a sequel to the franchise, but a remake. The teaser shown at the EA event was short and there isn’t much information available (or even a release date). The game will be released for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X.

Grid Legends: New Codemasters Game

The release of Grid Legends has been announced for 2022 for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series S/X and PlayStation 5. With an impressive launch trailer, you can see a little bit about the story mode with realistic graphics and recorded scenes. using Extended Reality (XR) technology — and famous actors like Ncuti Gatwa from the Sex Education series on Netflix. The developers of British studio Codemasters, bought by EA for $1.2 billion in December 2020, promise varied game modes and plenty of vehicle options to please gamers.
