JAKARTA – After many rumors circulating regarding EA UFC 5, Electronic Arts (EA) has finally announced that they will reveal all information on EA UFC 5 in September.
“UFC5 coming soon. Full disclosure on September 5, 2023,” wrote EA in its announcement on the official @EASPORTUFC account on Saturday, July 8.
Not only that, EA has also launched a website where fans can register to get more information about upcoming games.
Back in 2021, the game was originally planned to be revealed at the end of 2022.
In addition, launch VGCthere are also reports saying that EA is working on a revival franchise video game boxing Fight Night, but work on it had to stop due to development of the game UFC 5.
In a studio-wide email, EA Canada notified staff that the focus will be on EA Sports UFC 5 in the future.
“We are excited about UFC 5 and we want to remove the separate focus that some members of our leadership team have had in the past so we can focus solely on delivering high-quality migrations and UFC 5,” the email read.
The last main title in this franchise is EA Sports UFC 4, which has been available since August 2020 for Xbox One and PS4. The game features over 220 fighters, new takedown animations and a new Career Mode.
It’s not yet clear on which platforms UFC 5 will be released, but it is possible that EA Sports UFC 5 will launch on Xbox Series X/S and PS5.
