Electronic Arts presented the new WRC as promised. The game, simply called EA Sports WRC (without the number), was created by Dirt Rallye developers from the British studio Codemasters. We got the first trailer, which is two and a half minutes long, and next to it, basic information. The new edition, under the leadership of new authors, is aimed only at PC, PS5 and Xbox Series and is powered by Unreal Engine 5. Information from billbil-kun has also been confirmed that the game will be released on November 3rd, and those who pre-order it can start racing as early as the 31st. October
The game will contain 17 real locations of the world championship, including the earlier ones and the Central European Rally, which will be held this year for the first time and will also visit the Czech Republic. But it will only arrive in the title as part of the post launch content. The team continues to attract 10 vehicles from the WRC, WRC2 and Junior WRC categories and 68 iconic historic machines from the last 60 years.
In the build mode, it will be possible for the first time ever to design and assemble your own racing special. In the next mode, it will be possible to change different moments from history, probably following the example of the F1 series by Codemasters. And there will also be a full-fledged career, championship or time trials. Of course, this year’s full season with all drivers and teams is licensed. We will also be able to play with the content in the sticker editor. WRC will also offer cross-platform multiplayer for up to 32 players.

Even now, the Škoda car company is not missing among the cars, and the already mentioned various popular historical categories and legends of the past are also included. We will race them all on more than 600 kilometers of tracks. The authors are also inviting new dynamic and even more realistic controls. The standard version is sold for 50 euros on Steam and 1200 crowns on the Xbox Store. In addition to early access, the pre-order also includes other bonuses and stickers.
