following recent rumorsAfter saying EA and developer Codemasters would announce EA Sports WRC soon, the publisher and UK developer have now lifted the curtain on the game.
Scheduled to debut on PC, PS5, and Xbox series consoles (not PS4 or Xbox One) on November 3, 2023, users who pre-order the game can enjoy up to three days of early access starting from Halloween, October 31, 2023 Experience (in addition to the five VIP Rally Passes for accessing post-launch content), this game will be the next major iteration of the rally video game.
As for what exactly will be offered in the title, Codemasters promises longer, more detailed stages, 18 official FIA WRC locations, 600km of terrain, 10 current WRC, WRC2 and Junior WRC cars, and 68 iconic rally cars . Codemasters will be able to provide this because the game is built on Unreal Engine, which the developers hope will mean it can significantly improve its realism.
The game is also said to feature 32-player cross-platform multiplayer, as well as personalized events called Moments, which will be updated daily and will give players a chance to relive key WRC scenes.
Expect to hear more about EA Sports WRC in the coming weeks, with the game set to launch in a few months. Check out the trailer and some images below.
