EA Sports, with an official press release, announced that it has renewed its exclusive partnership with UEFA that will guarantee the use of the license of the UEFA Champions League, of the UEFA Europa League and of European Super Cup in the following chapters of the series FIFA.
According to the press release that we reported at the bottom of the news, the top European club competitions will be available in FIFA 22 and in subsequent chapters. This will ensure that fans of the series experience a more authentic and exciting environment, as well as countless exclusive content for the popular FIFA Ultimate Team (FUT) mode.
Electronic Arts Inc. has announced a multi-year extension of the UEFA license, securing major European club competitions exclusively for future EA SPORTS titles. UEFA and EA SPORTS are two of the biggest names in world football, synonymous with innovation, competition and commitment to advancing world football. To date, more than 150 million minutes have been played in UEFA Champions League competition in EA SPORTS FIFA games for consoles and PC.
The new license extension grants the EA SPORTS FIFA ecosystem exclusive rights to the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League and the UEFA Super Cup. The partnership is also poised to contribute to the growth of the eChampions League, a key and important tournament within the EA SPORTS FIFA Global Series competitive gaming program. “
