With FC Mobile, players can take their favorite clubs with them on the go and experience the popular game of football in a unique and pocket-friendly way. However, the app itself is switching from FIFA Mobile to FC Mobile this year.
Here we break down exactly what this means for EA Sports FC Mobile and how you can download it for your mobile devices.
EA FC Mobile release date
EA Sports FC Mobile will go live on all mobile devices on September 26th. However, you won’t find it in the App Store at the moment, even if it’s just a pre-registration.
This is because the current version of FIFA Football will migrate to EA Sports FC Mobile. If you want to have this mobile game when it releases, we recommend you download FIFA Soccer and update on September 26th.
Now when you play FIFA Football you actually become the founder of FC Mobile. This means you’ll get some exclusive in-game rewards that will carry over to the official release.
Do you need a new app for FC Mobile?
No, EA Sports has confirmed that you don’t need to download a new app to play FC Mobile. All you need to do is update the FIFA Soccer application on September 26th when the update goes live.

This will transform FIFA Soccer into EA Sports FC Mobile and introduce all the new additions that this new era of mobile soccer brings with it.
What transfers from FIFA Soccer to FC Mobile?
The only items that will transfer from FIFA Soccer to FC Mobile include:

Unfortunately, the following items will not be transferring to FC Mobile when it launches on September 26th:
List of Player Items Coins Gems League League Record Account Level Vanity Items, including Emotes, Logos, Kits and Stadiums Leaderboard Ranking Fans & Cups Increase the Rank of Items Skill Boosts Friend List and Friend Record Star Pass Progression Quests
This means players will lose all cosmetic items collected during FIFA Mobile. Instead, EA will be giving players a few emotes when FC Mobile launches.
They will also allow players to redeem old cosmetic items like logos and jerseys once FC Mobile is released, but they haven’t revealed exactly how yet. We will update this article as we learn more details.

Here are the requirements your device needs to run EA Sports FC Mobile properly:

FC Mobile will feature over 650 players from over 30 of the world’s most popular leagues. It is also the only place where you can take part in the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League and UEFA Europa Conference competitions.
With EA moving from FIFA to FC Mobile, many believed that this would have an impact on the leagues in the game, but luckily that won’t be the case. EA has confirmed that they continue to retain licenses for most football players, leagues and competitions.
You can still expect to see your favorite teams and players appear in the game, except you will no longer see the FIFA branding.
