For many years, Frank Buschmann and Wolff-Christoph Fuss were the commentary duo for all German-speaking players. But the legendary duo will no longer be part of EA Sports FC 25. Instead, two new commentators will take their place.

EA Sports FC 25: New commentator duo announced

German fans of the football simulation have been waiting for this for months. After the departure of Frank Buschmann and Wolff-Christoph Fuss, the commentators for the next part of the series have now been confirmed. Florian Schmidt-Sommerfeld and Jan Platte will take over the jobs of Buschmann and Fuss in the game.

For Schmidt-Sommerfeld, the EA Sports collaboration is a dream come true. “Being a commentator in ‘FC 25’ still feels a bit surreal,” says the 34-year-old. “I’ve been playing the series since I was very small and now it’s something like a childhood dream come true. I probably won’t really understand it until I hear myself in the game for the first time,” he added.

Platte is also happy about the collaboration: “It’s so much fun.” For him, it’s a real honor that they’ve been trusted to take part in such a big game. “We hope that the fans of ‘FC 25’ enjoy our commentary as much as we enjoy our work in the recording studio,” said the sports expert.

Sedlaczek becomes sideline reporter

They will be accompanied by Esther Sedlaczek, who, as in previous years, will be integrated as a studio reporter and will report on parallel matches in the “News From Elsewhere” feature. This means that the German trio represents EA Sports FC 25.
