When are Trailblazer cards coming to EA Sports FC 24? – This is how the Trailblazers Upgrade System works
The Trailblazer event is a brand new event in FC 24 that gives players who have had a good start to the new season improved special cards. The special thing about it is that the upgrades are not just about the overall ranking, but above all about the new play styles. Below you can find out what we know so far about the Trailblazers Upgrade System.
When and how do Trailblazers players get into FC 2?
The Trailblazers upgrades primarily focus on the new PlayStyles in FC 24. This means: Each selected Trailblazers player will receive a completely new PlayStyle+ when their respective special cards are released in FC 24 or an existing playstyle will be improved to PlayStyle+. If a player already has a PlayStyle+, they will receive a new PS+ and the old PS+ will become a normal, additional PlayStyle. In addition, players can also gain new, additional play styles, but in some cases new play styles are also exchanged for old ones.
The play style upgrade is always accompanied by an improvement in the overall rating and the associated attributes (speed, shooting, passing, dribbling, defense, physicality) of the respective Trailblazers card. What doesn’t seem to be possible are upgrades to the star rating “Weak Foot (SF)” (aka Weak Foot / WF) or “Special Move (SB)” (Skill) or new/other positions.
Can Trailblazer’s cards receive further upgrades?
No! The Trailblazers are (as opposed to cards like the Raod to the Knockouts). NOT dynamic itemsso they cannot get any further improvements.
However, that should hardly reduce the value of the Trailblazers, because judging by the player leaks so far, EA has chosen many popular and well-known soccer stars for the event. They already provide quite respectable values with their basic cards, which will receive a further boost during the event. Not to forget: Playing styles are important and can significantly improve a player.
