Recall that the cover of the Ultimate edition is a group photo of football players of the present and past: Erling Haaland (Erling Haaland), Bukayo Saka (Bukayo Saka), Ronaldinho (Ronaldinho), Pele (Pele), Andrea Pirlo (Andrea Pirlo) and others.

Fans have criticized the faces of the athletes (Ronaldinho, Pirlo and Saka especially) for not matching real prototypes or just being funny: the players are bigger reminded Sims characters than photorealistic soccer players.

The facial embarrassment has also raised concerns among some fans about the graphics in EA Sports FC 24, but Electronic Arts Executive Producer John Shepherd says there’s nothing to worry about: the cover doesn’t reflect the final quality of the game.

“The key here, in my opinion, is that we are doing a lot to improve the similarity of players [с реальными футболистами]. Our graphics will be great. We see reviewsShepard assured.

Shepard also hinted that creating the cover was complicated by the difficulty of obtaining all the necessary licenses. For example, the same Pirlo with other players at the beginning of the gameplay trailer is not. He probably got on the cover at the last moment.

EA Sports FC 24 will go on sale September 29 for PC (Steam, EA App, EGS), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, and Switch. Buyers of the Ultimate edition will receive seven days of early access to the game.
