EA Play will be available on Thursday with Xbox Game Pass for PC – Gaming – News

Microsoft completes the integration of EA Play with the Xbox Game Pass subscription for PC this week. Members can use the service from Thursday. Microsoft announced the integration in September last year, but the PC version was postponed.

Starting Thursday evening, 10:00 PM GMT, Xbox Game Pass users on the PC or Ultimate subscription can using EA Play on PC. This requires the use of EA’s software and an EA account.

Players must download the EA Desktop app, which is currently in beta. You must then log in with an EA account. After that, players can link their Xbox account and get access to the EA Play subscription.

This gives Xbox Game Pass subscribers access to the library of games on EA Play. It currently contains more than sixty games, including Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order, FIFA 20, Titanfall 2 and Need for Spead Heat. Star Wars: Rogue Squadron is also coming to EA Play this week.

Microsoft announced in September last year that EA Play becomes part of Game Pass. Players on consoles already got that integration with the release of the Xbox Series X and S in November, but on PC it would follow later. Integration was delayed at the end of 2020, but it was not clear until when.

The Xbox Game Pass subscription for PC costs 10 euros per month. The Ultimate subscription, which is also valid for consoles and cloud gaming, costs 13 euros per month. EA Play is also available separately for 5 euros per month.
