As you can see in the image, the EA Play membership, which costs €3.99 a month or €24.99 for a full year, will allow you to play the game for 10 hours once EA releases the Ultimate Edition. For EA FC 24, the deadline is September 22, 2023.
Until September 30, 2023, a month of EA Play in the PS Store only costs 99 cents – so you can play in EA FC 24 for 99 cents, cancel the subscription and check whether the purchase is worth it.
You don’t have to have pre-ordered EA FC 24 to get early access in the trial phase. When you sign up for EA Play you get 10% off pre-orders. So it might be worth it for you. And you can extend the test phase from 10 to 20 hours, we’ll get to that in a moment.
EA Play Pro costs €14.99 per month or €99.99 for a year. You get the Ultimate Edition of EA FC 24 and all the bonuses listed in the image below or in our EA FC 24 Ultimate & Standard Edition comparison.
If you’re wondering about the “missing” 10-hour early access, rest assured that’s not an issue with the EA Play Pro subscription. The Ultimate Edition allows you to play the game immediately upon release, without the ten hour limit of play time.
However, there are platform restrictions for the expensive subscription model.

EA FC 24 EA Play Trial: Release date, start time & platforms
Early Access will be activated on September 22nd, i.e. with the release of the Ultimate Edition. Then you can play for 10 hours with the EA Play Trial. The test phase has been ready for you since 00:00 a.m.
If you’re planning on pre-ordering the Ultimate Edition anyway, Early Access wouldn’t really be worth it. The in-game progress you make with EA Play Trial will carry over to the full version if you choose to purchase it. EA Play is available for PlayStation, PC and Xbox.
EA Play Pro is only available on PC. Only PC users have the opportunity to play the full version of the Ultimate Edition with the expensive subscription model.

How to get 10 hours of Early Access with EA Play Trial for EA FC 24:
Call the page EA Play Follow the on-screen instructions to subscribe to the service Go to your console’s store and search for EA Sports FC 24 Select one of the editions and then ‘Trial’.
There’s also good news for anyone who doesn’t want to invest in EA FC 24 right away: the upcoming EA game is expected to be fully integrated into Microsoft’s Game Pass and your EA Play subscription. However, there is a significant waiting time.
FIFA 23 was added to the Play List on May 16, 2023, meaning you’ll likely have to wait until 2024 to play EA FC 24 at no additional cost.
Extend EA Play Trial for EA FC 24: This is how you get 20 hours of early access
There’s an easy way to extend or even double your EA FC 24 trial period. EA has made both versions available for download on both current and old gen. You can do the following things to to get another ten hours out:
Download the EA FC 24 trial version on your consoleSearch for the other version (For PS5 you can download the PS4 version and vice versa – also on Xbox)Start only one of the two versions and play until the ten hours are upChoose the second Version and play again for ten hours
Once you have activated the ten hour EA Play trial, a timer will start running down, which you should always keep an eye on. So don’t waste so much time in the menu and always close the game completely when you stop so that the timer doesn’t continue.
