EA may be polling interest in Dead Space 2 and 3 remakes – Gaming – News

EA appears to be gauging interest in remakes of the second and third Dead Space games through a survey it sends to players of the recently released remake of the first Dead Space.

In the survey that game developer Dillon Rogers, among others, shares on Twitter, it is specifically asked about the interest in a ‘similar remake’ of Dead Space 1 and 2 to that of the first Dead Space. So it looks like EA is considering polishing up the two sequels as well. If the publisher decides to do so, it remains to be seen which studio will work on these polished games, since the developer of the first remake, Motive Studio, is currently working on an Iron Man game. This game is still in an early stage of development.

The remake of the first Dead Space appeared last January for PC, Xbox Series consoles and PlayStation 5. The survival horror game originally came out in 2008 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. The game received good reviews. The review on Tweakers, among others, called the remake ‘excellent success’. Official sales figures for the game have not yet been announced.
